Marlene M. Lapping

Marlene M. Lapping, age 81, of Erie passed away on Sunday morning May 25,2025.
She was born in Everson, PA on September 24th, 1943, the daughter of the late Joseph & Sophie (Kuniec) Foriska.
Marlene graduated from Strong Vincent High School. Always a hard worker, she retired from General Electric and then went on to work at Blessed Sacrament School and Walmart.
She enjoyed being outside working around her house gardening, was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and loved cooking and especially family get togethers (Pierogi Day).
She is survived by two sons Ronald R. Lapping Jr, wife Sandy, of Columbus OH, and Andrew T. Lapping of Millcreek; a sister, Dolores Piechocki, of Harborcreek; a brother, Joseph Forisko of New Jersey; a twin sister, Eileen Wensel, of Millcreek; her grandchildren Brittany Moline, Ronald Lapping III, Joshua Lapping, wife Jenna; one great granddaughter Olivia Rose Moline; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph A Lapping.
Friends and family are invited to call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of a brief service at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday May 31st, 2025, at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd., Erie, PA 16508, followed by a brief service and burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 5711 W Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505.
