Mark Anthony Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP - West 38th St. on Mar. 4, 2026.
Mark John Anthony II, age 40, of Millcreek passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 1st. Born in Hammond, Indiana on December 10th, 1985, he was the beloved first son of Mark Sr. and Debbie (Andrews) Anthony.

Mark began working with concrete before he learned how to ride a bike. He grew up fully integrated in the family business and ventured out on his own in 2020 with the start of his business, Mark Anthony Concrete. He was an incredibly skilled and passionate tradesman.

Mark found great joy in being a father to his three beautiful daughters, Lyla, Ellie, and Stellie. He treasured time with his brother, John, whether it be gaming, working out, running, or sharing YouTube videos. He adored his girlfriend and partner, Nicole, for two of the longest-shortest years; making sure she was well fed and held tightly. Mark loved and was loved beyond words. He enjoyed his freedom, traveling, cooking, head scratches, listening to music, reading nonfiction, photographing sunsets, vacationing in Pompano Beach, Fl, playing pickleball, snuggling his girls, feeding too many treats to his pups, swimming in the ocean, and basking in the sun.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gloria Hennies and her husband, Bill Hennies; his paternal grandfather, Frank J. Anthony; and his maternal grandfather, John F. Andrews.

Besides his parents, survivors include his daughters, Lyla, Eliana, and Estelle Anthony, their mother, Tara; his brother, John Anthony, wife Brigitta; his girlfriend, Nicole Spencer; his maternal grandmother, Leah Andrews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of family. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. assisted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to The Erie County Office of Drug and Alcohol Abuse, 240 W 11th St suite b-050, Erie, PA 16501.
