Richard Carr Obituary
Richard was a musician who, in addition to singing, played the guitar and bass. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and playing cards. Employment included Hammermill and the railroad.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ila "Mary" (Deboe) Carr; and his brother, Will (Sweet Pete) Carr.
He is survived by two children, Donna Carson, husband James, and Richard Salter, wife Kristen; and six grandchildren, Jasen Carson, wife Eboni, Jamal Carson, James Carson, Jr., wife Morgan, Donnisha Carson, Dashawn Salter, and Morgan Salter; and a host of great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory Pine Avenue Branch, 845 E. 38th Street, on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of a funeral service there at 1 p.m. Private burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
