Carol Large Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Premier Funeral Services - Orem on Jul. 8, 2024.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, sister, and friend, Carol Lee Bair Large, on June 7th, 2024 in Orem Ut.
Carol was born in American Fork, Utah on May 11th, 1962. She was the youngest of 7 kids born to Margaret Ellen May and Clarence Fredrick Bair. She grew up in American Fork and stayed there throughout all of her school years. After school she moved to many places, including Tooele, Ferron, and Birdseye before settling in Orem.
Carol loved many things, and everything she loved, she loved with her whole heart. She enjoyed lunches and phone calls with her sisters, walks to the park and playing restaurant with Baylee, video chats and hugs from Tyler, and her ever growing pig collection. Her first love, though, was for her boys, Matt and Jack. She took on the task of both mom and dad and raised her boys to be amazing, loving, productive men. They are who they are because of everything she taught them. Her next, and most favorite love was her grandkids. Being a grandma is what Carol was made for. From playing at the pretend, to finding the best garage sale treasures, to cheering at competitions and recitals. She was always the proudest grandma when she was with her grandkids. She never showed up to anything without a gift or a treat that had made her think of you. She will be so very missed but always remembered at every get together for the rest of our lives.
She is survived by her sons, Matt (Sarah) Bair of Springville, and Jack (Sara) Large of Lehi. Her three grandkids, Amber Lowe, Baylee Bair and Tyler Large. Siblings: Peggy Driscoll, Sally (Gary) Washburn, Jim Bair, Susan (Craig) Wagner, and Charlotte Washburn. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Bair, and brother-in-law Van Washburn.
Graveside services will be held on July 13th 2024 at 11:30 a.m with visitation starting at 11 a.m. at the American Fork City Cemetery, located at 26 West 600 North American Fork, Utah.
Thank you to everyone who has shown our family so much love and support as we have been going through such sad times.
