Denise Lowder Perkins was born on February 4, 1972 in Ogden, Utah to Vicky and Robert Lowder, and passed on March 10th, 2026 in her home at the age of 54.
She grew up in Clinton, Utah being one of 7 children. Denise's family was very active in the Mormon church, with her parents often volunteering for missions on the church's behalf.
Denise attended Clearfield High and later attended a GED program for expecting mothers while pregnant with her first son Brad, gaining her GED.
Denise mothered two more children, Tiffany and Skyler with her 1st husband. Denise then settled in Sunset, Utah after meeting her current husband of 29 years Brent R Perkins and gaining 3 more boys: Tony, Taylor, and Tyler, and having her final son Mackenzie B Perkins.
Denise enjoyed helping others and led a career path in her early years as a secretary, crossing guard, and cafeteria worker and later in life a call center representative.
When Denise wasn't working, she really enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing with her family. Denise felt most at peace riding down the highway with her music blaring. When at home being creative was where she really shined, she was very crafty and knew most any craft you could think of. Her favorites being quilting, stained glass, and needle point, she also enjoyed baking over the holidays.
Denise continued her following of the Church of Latter-day Saints and became sealed to her husband Brent on January 25, 2001.
She will be remembered by her Husband Brent R Perkins, her children Brad Backus, Skyler Perkins, and Mackenzie Perkins, as well as her step-sons Taylor Perkins, Tony Perkins, and Tyler Perkins and her many grand-children.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Tiffany, her parents Robert and Vicky Lowder, and grandparents.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North, North Ogden, UT 84414. The family requests casual attire.
The family would like to thank the Sunset City Police Department and EMT service for their quick actions.
