Carol Laughlin Obituary
She was born on January 26, 1931 in Sandusky, Ohio to Martin and Catherine (Crecelius) Brod.
Carol graduated from Berlin Heights High School. She married her husband Willis (Ernie) on June 18, 1949 and they had five (5) children. She was devoted to her family. Carol was a member of Edison Memorial United Methodist Church. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and her beloved husband of 72 years. She enjoyed baking, gardening, fishing, traveling and feeding hummingbirds.
Carol is survived by her children, William (Nancy) Laughlin of Berlin Heights, Keith (Cathy) Laughlin of Milan, Kim Brown of Sandusky, Kevin (Penny) Laughlin of Berlin Heights and Lori (Steven) Alt of Sandusky along with eleven (11) grandchildren, Brian (Martha) Laughlin, Jason (Dianna) Laughlin, Craig Laughlin, Wendy Higgins, Jeffrey Laughlin, Julie Amato, Jennifer (Daman) Bryant, Angela (Steve) Langhals, Michael (Katie) Laughlin, Christopher Laughlin, Brandon Alt, sixteen (16) great-grandchildren and two (2) great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband Ernie in 2022.
Friends may call on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Cemetery, Huron, Ohio.

Both Ernie and Carol were patients at NOMS Advanced Therapy along with their son, Bill. I so much enjoyed working with them. The family was so caring and loving to their parents. What a joy to witness and get to help them with their pain/physical mobility. God bless Carol's family.
