Carol Ann Leaver, 79, of Wooster, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Celebration of life Services will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd Wooster OH 44691.
Carol was born October 29, 1943, in Dover, OH to Robert and Mary {DeSerio} Gintz.
She married Donald Leaver on September 18, 1968. He survives.
Carol graduated from Tuscarawas High School in 1961. She then attended the School of Radiology at Aultman Hospital. Carol was an X-Ray tech for Wooster Community Hospital and Dunlap Memorial Hospital before retiring in 2007. She enjoyed gardening, collecting Elvis memorabilia, cheering for the Browns, and was a life long cat lover. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Carol was known for her great sense of humor, clever wit, steel trap memory, creativity, her deep and unfailing kindness, and loving her family.
Carol will be deeply missed by her husband, children Camille Leaver of Winston-Salem, NC, Angie (Bill) Barker Canal Winchester, OH, and Adam Leaver Watertown, MN; grandchildren Gavin and Emma Leaver and Stewart Barker; brothers Bill (Kathy) Gintz.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
