Carol Jean Lewis, 83, of Walnut Shade, Missouri, passed away on July 26, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on May 13, 1942, in Ozark, Missouri, to Homer Eugene and Wilma (Louks) Bilyeu.
Carol spent most of her life in the Ozark and Branson communities. She was a woman who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including reading, tending to her garden, and caring for her beloved animals. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, and she loved to dote on her grandchildren, of whom she was incredibly proud. Carol was also a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Springfield, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eugene "Butch" Lewis, and her daughter, Shelia Beth Lewis. Carol is survived by her children, Alan Lewis, Richard Lewis, Donna Casner, Sandy Stocks, Wade Lewis, and Corey Lewis. She also leaves behind numerous loving grandchildren who will cherish her memory. A memorial service will be arranged and announced by the family at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory, and Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri.
