Lewis, Carol Lorene - Age 92, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully at home, November 5, 2025. Committal services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday November 13, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. Carol was born February 18, 1933 in Hugo, Colorado, the daughter of Willard Ellis Sisler and Wilma (Lewis). She married Glenn E. Lewis on November 30, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. He preceded her in death September 26, 2016. Carol grew up in a small town in Lyons, Colorado. She loved talking about her adventures and wonderful memories living there. Carol was always so beautiful and was even crowned Queen of Lyons. She loved deeply and was the most generous soul, whether it be of her time, finances, or giving away all that she had to bring happiness to others. Carol was a gifted pianist and loved the opportunity to spread joy to people of all ages. Our family and friends will always remember Christmases of her leading in hymns and carols around the piano. Carol had a love for children and teaching them to love playing the piano. She was always active in music at church, singing in choir, playing for church services, performances, or putting on musicals with the children. Her joy and pride were her grandchildren. She was so proud and would take any opportunity to brag on them. Carol was blessed with many great-grandchildren and she could name them all and enjoyed talking on the phone with them. We are all brokenhearted but have the faith knowing she is with Jesus. She taught all of her family or anyone in her presence, the love and joy of knowing the Savior. Surviving are: her four children, Gary (Kathy) Lewis of Meadview Arizona, Robert (Candace) Lewis of Crestline, California, Vicki Lynn Collins of Grand Blanc (fiance Rick Fragola) , Edward (Sandi) Lewis of Independence, Kansas; grandchildren, Cher Lewis, Ryan (Beth) Lewis, Timothy (Chrystal) Lewis, Sarah Lewis, Jennifer (Cary) Dillow, Robert (Maggie) Lewis, David (Megan) Lewis, Christina (Aaron) Oskey, Catherine (Greg) Feldmann, Caroline (Jason) Biscorner, Jacob Collins (Vanessa Gonzales), Clare Collins (Jane Iyszak), adopted granddaughter Elisabeth Boaz (Tim), Isabella (Matthew) McGlasson, Emily Lewis (Evan Johnson); many great-grandchildren; Emilia, Andrew, Alaeya, Evan, Hailey, Heidi, Carson, Nadia, AJ, Olivia, Delilah, and baby Madeline (coming in March), She was also blessed with great great grandchildren. Her brother, Jerry (Sharon) Sisler of Wichita, Kansas; sister Eileen (David) Greenhaw of San Louis Obispo, California; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Wilma Sisler; husband, Glenn Lewis; and sister Joyce Krimm. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
