Carol Loritz Obituary
She was born on July 15, 1941 in Escanaba, daughter to John J. and Viola E. (Gannon) Dubord.
On January 26, 1974, Carol married Alvin R. Loritz in Escanaba. They have lived in Escanaba the majority of their lives besides a brief time that they resided in Florida.
Carol enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, and loved dogs. She was a member of the hearing-impaired group in Escanaba.
Among survivors include her husband, Alvin of Escanaba; two children, Linda (Mike) Derusha of Plainfield, IL and David Loritz of Escanaba; grandchildren, Anthony Derusha (Staci Tepper), Christian Derusha, and Brandon Loritz; two brothers, Ronald Dubord and Richard (Laurie) Dubord; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Loritz; daughter in law, Sharon Loritz; and brother, Robert.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 1st from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Darryl Pepin officiating.
Burial will be in Norway Cemetery.
