Carol Ann Lullo, age 67 of Montello, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, surrounded by family, after fighting a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer.
Carol was born on January 28, 1957, to Eldon and Joyce (Thada) Bengsch. She attended Westfield schools. Carol had various jobs over the years but most recently worked for Brakebush Brothers for many years until her retirement.
She was united in marriage to David Lullo on October 20, 2001.
Carol was an avid book reader who enjoyed crafting, a rousing card game of Phase 10 and a cold Dr. Pepper. Carol was inspired by lighthouses and loved collecting them of various colors and sizes.
Carol was a member of Moundville United Methodist Church and cherished her faith and relationship with God. She was also a proud member of the VFW Auxiliary 8718. Carol had a soft spot for animals and loved all her cats. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. Carol had the biggest heart and put other’s needs above her own.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Joyce; sister, Debra Doherty; father and mother- in-law, Robert and Nancy (Colby) Lullo and father-in-law, William Barron Sr.
Carol is survived by her husband, David; brother, Robert (Kristin Wettstein) Bengsch, Grand Marsh; daughter Jennifer (Jason Ford) Shier, Portage; son, Christopher (Gina) Lieske, Westfield; stepmother, Verla Henke Bengsch, Westfield; mother-in-law, Patricia Barron, Endeavor; grandchildren, Spencer Shier, Wisconsin Dells, Emily Shier, Stevens Point, Abby Shier, Madison, Evan and Lucas Lieske, Westfield; nieces, nephews, many other relatives, her cherished friend, Debbie Colby and her partner in crime, Sherry Stevens.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Moundville United Methodist Church, W5501 County Rd. O Endeavor, WI. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Cotter officiating. A lunch will be held at the church following the memorial service.
