Carol A. McClinton, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born to the late Clifton and Audrey Horne, Carol lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and devotion to those she held dear.

She is survived by the father of her children, Michael McClinton, and her beloved children: Mica McClinton, Jake McClinton, Sarah (Thomas) Skyles, and Beckie McClinton; and Carol’s two daughters Vicki (Mike) Mehaffey, Tammi (Mark) Miles. Carol was a cherished grandmother to Alivia, Ben, Matalyn, Luke, Noah, Ethan, Jackson, Isaiah, and Lyric, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Carol was a dear sister to Mike and Linda, and leaves behind many more family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—singing karaoke, enjoying family game nights, and the occasional trip to the casino. But above all, Carol treasured time spent with her family. Her love, laughter, and unwavering support will be remembered always.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to a charity of your choice.
