Carol Ann Moore went to live with her Heavenly Father on February 19, 2026. Carol was born and raised in Frackville, PA to Louis and Mary Wentz. Carol had a long career as a dedicated nursing professional. She began her career in Norfolk, VA and moved to Richmond, VA where she worked for 30 years at the Tucker Psychiatric Pavilion at Chippenham Hospital. She was always kind, conscientious and patient-focused. She was an active member in her churches, most recently Crestwood Church in Richmond, VA where she was a friend to all. It was here that she met the love of her life and they married in April of 2018. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Mary Wentz, and her sisters, Fay Morgan and Beverly Wiggins. She is survived by her adoring husband, Adron Moore, her sister, Ruth Peca Cooper of Binghamton, NY, her step-daughters, Vicki Moore Finn (Kevin) of Portland, OR and Traci Moore Haise (Jeff) of Midlothian, VA, nephew and godson Perry Wiggins (Annette) of Chapman, KS, nephews Randy Wiggins (Debbie) of Eatonton, GA and Jeffrey Wiggins (Terri) of Ashville, NC, and nieces, Karen (John Burke) Moran of Ashland, PA, and Susan Grove of FL, and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 25 from 6-8 PM at Bliley Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Rd, Midlothian, VA 23224. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 26 at 11:00 AM at Crestwood Church, 1200 Charter Colony Parkway, Midlothian, VA 23114. A private family interment service will be held in Ashland, PA.
