Sacramento, California - Carol was born in Marin County. Carol was always the optimist in the crowd, always looking for the bright side of whatever was before her. She married her high school sweet heart, Graham Morey, and proceeded to have three children, Jeffery, Jim, and Jennifer.
Carol had lots of fun growing up. Her parents, Oliver Jr, and Helen Kay were likely to have a party in the basement of San Anselmo. Her brother Dick, who was five years older was likely chaperoning.
After having her first two boys, they moved to Sacramento, had their third child and settled for the remainder of their lives. Carol and Graham were happily married for 58 years. Their stories of family gatherings, traveling in retirement and the thousands of pictures taken tells the story.
Carol was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother of 6, Emily, Walter, Jimmy, Mary-Clare, Darby, and William. And Great Grandmother to six, Gabriella, Sofia, Hudson, Giselle, Julian and Eisley.
Carol loved to entertain and cook. She always loved to prepare for big events and had many special gatherings at her house. The family gatherings were filled with laughter, games, and stories. Carol loved to play games and would smile and console you as she pegged out on you in cribbage or got 50 in dominoes. Always a smile though.
Carol was received by Jesus in his kingdom on May 26, 2023.
She will be missed. But our fond and loving memories will endure and live on.
