Annette was born on Oct. 14, 1958 to Harchel Ray and Dora Irene Murphy at Fort Dix Army Hospital in New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Maegan Walden.
She grew up in Modesto, IL and attended Northwestern High School in Palmyra, IL.
Prior to becoming ill, she had a funny, spunky, feisty, and energetic spirit that drew people to her. She loved to spend quality time with her children, grandchildren and other family members; watching movies, going to yard sales and thrift stores. She also liked to bake and make delicious deserts and candies; that were sought after by family and friends.
Although Annette's human form has passed on, her spirit will forever live in our hearts, in our memories, and through her children.
Surviving are her children, Alisha (Tom) Whited, Tiffany Walden and Cameron Murphy; grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Collin, Mackenzy, Lakin and Syncere; two sisters, Sandie (Brad) Ayers and Darlene Murphy Pratt; two brothers, Mike Murphy and John (Amy) Murphy; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3pm till 5pm, Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 at Blooming Grove Christian Church, 29207 Quarton Rd, Palmyra, IL.
Private family burial will be at a later date.
