Carol Pillitiere Obituary
Carol C. Pillitiere, 81, of Coventry Township, passed away August 3, 2024.
Carol was born to the late Oran and Francis Young. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1960 and married her high school sweetheart, Charles R. Pillitiere in 1964. Carol worked as the school secretary for St. Francis De Sales Catholic School for 20+ years. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her two sons, Charles W. and Anthony (Christine) Pillitiere; step-grandchildren Spencer and Emily Nichol; sister, Mary Kirt; Nieces Lisa and Anna.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 8, from 4-7 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz 1990 S. Main St. Akron, OH 44301. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday August 9, 2024, at 10 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron OH 44319.
