Obituary of Carol Ann Porter
Carol Ann Porter entered eternal rest on January 3, 2023, in Gilbert, Arizona at the age of 73 years.
Carol was born April 5, 1949, in Holbrook, Arizona, and resided mostly in the Mesa-Chandler area. Preceded in death by her parents Willard and Alice Porter and siblings Richard Porter, Norma Mitchell, and Perry Porter. She is remembered by her siblings Riley Porter, Verna Sullivan, Edward Porter, Marilyn Casillas, and many other family members. While Carol did not have any children of her own, she was like a mother figure to many nieces and nephews.
Carol's occupation was in the hospitality industry, working at the Mesa Holiday Inn where she was promoted to head of housekeeping. She expressed how much she enjoyed working at the Holiday Inn, especially during spring training for baseball and seeing all the players. Carol was very giving and the first to help anyone in need, be it, family, stranger, or animal. Her generosity helped support many children and animal charities.
Funeral Service will be held on January 21, 2023, at The Church of Latter-Day Saints in Gilbert, Arizona 5656 S. Higley Rd. Visitation is at 11:00 a.m., the service is at 12:00 p.m., and a Luncheon will be held after the service. Burial will be held on January 23, 2023, at the Heber Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
