Carol Oros Poston, age 68 formerly of
Mantua, Ohio passed away Thursday December 18, 2025 after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven J. Poston; dear mother of Heather (Anthony Skulina) Poston; loving grandmother of Ellie Skulina; cherished sister of Bob (Donna) Oros, John Oros Susan (Rick) Henterly and Joe (Helen) Oros and the late Bill (Robbie-surviving) Oros; dearest aunt of many.Carol grew up in a large and loving family as the second youngest of six children. Family meant everything to her, and that devotion remained at the center of her life. A dedicated homemaker, Carol also gave generously of her time, often volunteering and helping those in need whenever she could.
She had a creative spirit and a deep love for stained glass painting, creating many beautiful pieces that reflected her talent and patience. Carol embraced life with enthusiasm and adventure, spending countless days outdoors skiing, scuba diving, and exploring new experiences. If there was something new to try, Carol and her beloved husband, Steve, were ready for it together.
Above all else, Carol deeply loved her husband Steve and her daughter, who were the center of her world. Later in life, she was blessed with her first granddaughter, Ellie, who quickly became her greatest joy and "everything" to her.
Carol was known for her unwavering positivity, even in the face of life's challenges. She loved like no other, always offering kindness, warmth, and a smile that could brighten any room. Her love, strength, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 10-11 AM with service at 11 AM at Busch-Romito Funeral Home (Rt. 82 1 mile west of Rt. 8) 99 W.
