Carol and I graduated together from SUNY Cortland in 1969. Our friendship continued throughout our careers. We often saw each other on campus at the annual Recreation Conference. For years, we enjoyed the Hearts of Gold Reunion at Raquette Lake. About 20 years ago, I asked her to join the Metcalf Endowment Board, which she did. As board members, we exchanged many meaningful emails. Carol always had thoughtful advice to give. We were lucky to be Gold Metcalf Alumni! I´ll miss our frequent chats!! Good bless Carol!

I was Carol's roommate at Cortland, where we lived & terrorized our dorm at Cheney Hall. Best roomie ever. I only managed to survive our Racquette Lake program because of her. We did trips together & stayed pals for a long time, despite my moving to California. I didn't know she was sick until she wasn't returning my calls in July. Am sure she sailed through the Pearly Gates. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Cathy Tucker (aka Olive).
