Carol Romano

Carol Romano, of Westlake, died Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake,
of a brief illness. She was born December 28, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived many years in Lakewood, before
moving to Westlake, Ohio. She was a very active member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church
(now Transfiguration Parish), Lakewood, and after moving from Lakewood, became a very active member at St. Mary
Of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Avon. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed gardening,
but most of all loved Genealogy and recording her family's history.
She is survived by her 6 children: Brenda (Steven) Stavrenos, Michelle (Edward) Senko, Kathleen (Brian) Parker,
David (Joan) Romano, Cheryl (Mark) Lundy, and Michael (Shannon) Romano; 16 Grandchidlren; and 13 Great-Grandchildren;
Siblings: Donna McIlvaine, Theodore Lieb, Marilyn (James) Mulloy, John (Cristine) Lieb, and Joan (Kenneth) Schneider.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years: Mario P. Romano; great-grandson Matthew Randolph Dumais Jr., her brother: Michael Lieb; and her parents: Marvin C. and Norma E. (nee Wahl) Lieb.
Family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd.,
Avon, where closing prayers will be Friday, 9:15 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. mass at St. Mary Of The Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, 2640 Stoney Ridge Rd., Avon.
