Carol Ann Ruser, age 75 of Blue Earth, passed away unexpectedly while on a trip with her family to Mexico. A time for visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10am – 12pm. A graveside service will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth,
Carol was born on January 13, 1949 in Blue Earth to Merelyn (Moe) and Violet (Nemitz) Evans. She graduated from Blue Earth High School and worked for 37 years as a telephone operator at Blue Earth Telephone Company, now known as BEVComm. On August 23, 1969, Carol married the love of her life, Dennis Ruser. Together the couple would be blessed with two children, Tasha and Trevor.
Carol was kind and caring. To know Carol was to know love. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She loved to shop. Carol loved being a Nana to her grandchildren and was so excited to welcome another grandson to the family. Carol was an amazing wife and mother who was always there for her family. She had many friends and was well loved in the community.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dennis of 55 years; daughter, Tasha (Adam) Walker of Blue Earth; son, Trevor (Kelsey Wagner) Ruser of Pinedale, Wyoming; grandchildren, Hannah, Bentlee and new grandson expected to arrive in September.
Sister, Sharol (Mark) St. Cin of Montgomery, Alabama. Brothers Duane (Mary) Evans of Winnebago, Randy (Jean) Evans of Charles City, Iowa. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Merelyn (Moe) and Violet Evans, in-laws Elmer and Ella Ruser and sister in-law Marlene Graves.
