Carol Ann Shields

Carol Ann Shields, 74, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 14, 2022, with her daughter by her side. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Myrtle Nieland; loving mother of Charlie, Andy (married to Jessie Munger), and Kerry Shields; grandmother of Archie Shields; and sister to Christine and the late David Nieland. She was a member of Visitation Parish, past CCW President, 36-year resident of Elmhurst, and a dear friend to many. She was the best mother, friend, and she will be sorely missed. Funeral Services and Interment are Private at this time. An outdoor celebration of her life will be held in the spring or summer 2022. Details to come.
