Carol J. Shoop

ELIZABETHVILLE- Carol J. Shoop, age 81, of Pine Street, died July 23, 2024, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born on September 30, 1942 in Junction City, KS the daughter of [the late] Eugene F. and Irene E. (Zeibell)Westover.
Carol was the widow of Paul E. Shoop.
Carol had worked in local shoe and garment factories in the area. After her retirement she worked at the local library. She enjoyed crochet, spending time at the Small Valley Girl Scouts Camp and watching the Hummingbirds. She also was active with an on-line stationary group.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathlynn Schwartz (Christopher); Grandchildren, Morgan Cook, Justin Shoop, Alyssa Schwartz and Spencer Schwartz; Great Grandchildren, Parker Cook, Quinn Cook, Adriana Wilson, Rylee Herb and Grayson Cruz; Brother, Orin Auld and sister, Arvis Connolly.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Shoop, Daughter, Justine Shoop; Grandchildren, Nicole Shoop and Jacy Herb.
There will be a graveside memorial held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery, Halifax.
