Carol Sidenstricker Obituary
Carol was a former member of the Baptist Church in West Virginia and current member of the Plain City Journey Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who took pride in hospitality, cooking and flowers.
Preceded in death by her father: Owen Messer; mother: Polly (Smith) Messer Spradling; daughter: Theresea Lynn Sidenstricker – 1980; sisters: Matilda "Cricket" Smith and Linda Cottrill; brother: James Messer.
Survived by her adoring husband of 54 years: Jack Sidenstricker; daughter: Kimberly Reneé (Rodney) Proffitt; son: David Lee (Athena) Sidenstricker; grandchildren: Madelyn Marie Sidenstricker, Brodie Lee Sidenstricker and Alexander Bruce Proffitt; sisters: Brenda (Asa Schreck) Bray and Perva Leach and many nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and good friends.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 PM Friday at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 14, 2022. Pastor Ken Harrell will officiate and immediately followed by burial at Forest Grove Cemetery.
