Carol Skinner, 84, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, at her home with her daughter by her side.

Carol grew up in Cambridge and Roxbury, MA, and she graduated from Natick High School. She began her career as an LPN and later worked for the Salem School District, where she was known for her kind and caring nature. She worked as a legal secretary for Arthur D. Little for many years. Carol retired from the Salem School District where she worked in the cafeteria. Carol volunteered for many organizations including Meals on Wheels and in the Trinity Church's nursery for 18 years.

A natural caretaker, Carol had a gentle heart and a love for music and animals. Her compassion touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Moriarty and her husband Don of Auburn, NH; her sister, Marcia Ersland and husband Robert of CA; her beloved grandson, Christopher Walker; her 3 great grandchildren, Anthony, Abrianna and Olivia and nephews, Mark and Richard Croati.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Anthony Petrino and her grandson, Adam.
