A beautiful obituary captivating the essence of a lovely person! I had the pleasure to be employed by the TISD during years of Carol´s administration as Superintendent. I became the Principal of Highland Pines School during her tenure. She made me feel supported and respected. Thank-you Carol, for being a mentor and friend!

Carol and I met at MSU and became teachers. When she did her student teaching, she stayed with my parents. Of course, she got a teaching position with Saginaw Twp. Schools. Carol was gifted in her teaching style. The students respected her. She was attentive to her students various needs.
My memories of Carol, since 1969, are of a person who loved her friends. To know her, was to love her. She had a great sense of humor and and a contagious laugh. Rest in peace, Carol.
