Carol A Spinelli

Carol A. (Price) Spinelli, 88, of Rahway, New Jersey, entered into eternal rest on February 26th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden. The funeral will begin on Tuesday, March 3, 20026 at the funeral home at 9am, followed by a 10am Funeral Mass in St. Elizabeth Church, Linden. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Linden.

Carol was born to the late William and Antoinette (Fiorvante) Price in Newark, New Jersey on November 1st, 1937, where she was raised alongside her brothers and sisters. Carol moved to Linden in 1968 and later resided in Rahway. She ran the mailroom at Turtle & Hughes for 15 years before retiring in 2008.

Carol was the matriarch of her large Italian family, whom she loved spending time with. She enjoyed reading, online shopping (especially on Amazon), making new friends and keeping in touch with old ones on Facebook, and starting to shop for Christmas as early as July. She especially loved the holidays, as they were a time to be surrounded by family, shower them with love, and keep up their traditions. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and spoiling them gave her great joy.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Spinelli, who passed away on April 21st, 1991. They were happily married for 22 years, though she often said this was not nearly enough time together. He was the love of her life.

She will be dearly missed by all her family. She is survived by her brothers Wallace Price and William Price; her sisters Judith Belotti, Josephine Palermo, Grace Marino and husband Robert, and Ann Price; her children William Nuzzo and wife Ursula, Terri Keefe, and Donna Pochopin and husband Dennis; her step-children Samuel Spinelli, James Spinelli, and Sarah Moore.

Cherished grandmother to Angela Keefe and fiancé Marc Ramos, Michael Keefe and wife Sarah, and Gianna Lepanto and great-grandmother to Anthony, Giovanni, Julian, and Olivia. Beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. Fabulous grandma to her two grandpups, Cody and Sadie.
