Carol Stanton, a devoted wife, mother, and cherished Mamaw, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. A lifelong member of Liberty Temple, she devoted over 40 years to her church family, where her unwavering Christian faith inspired many.

Carol’s passion for life was evident in her love for butterflies and hummingbirds, symbols of the beauty she found in everyday moments. Family was her world; she cherished every holiday gathering, always bringing joy and warmth to those around her. Her FaceTime videos with her grandkids were a source of endless delight, bridging the miles with laughter and love.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Stanton, sisters; Rhonda Fancera, Pam Brutscher (Bill), daughters; Carolyn Brinson (Matthew), Rhonda Salyer (Timothy), and son, John Mansfield (Misty). She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Carols proceeded in death by her mother Dorothy Eubanks and stepfather Charles Eubanks. She is also joining her brother Doug Colvin and brother-in-law Sam Fancera.

In addition to her family, Carol found comfort in her beloved cat, Sassy, who brought her companionship and joy. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special, always ready with a kind word or a listening ear.

Carol’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the moments spent with her. She is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

In celebrating her life, we remember a woman of faith, love, and kindness. Carol will be deeply missed but will always be remembered as a guiding light in our lives.
