Carol was passionate about animals and served as an advocate for their welfare. She enjoyed reading, music, and dancing. Carol will be remembered for her generosity and kindness. Her memory lives on with her beloved family and friends.
Carol is survived by her son, Travis Stewart (Christina) of Fountain Inn; one grandchild, Liam Stewart; and two sisters, Anne O'Flaherty and Margaret Edwards both currently residing in Florida; and many beloved extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home, 1150 North Main Street, Fountain Inn on Saturday, June 22, 2024, beginning at 12:00 pm. The family will visit with friends following the service.

Carol was so sweet in every way. She showed grace and kindness. I was so impressed by her love for her family and tender heartedness that she felt for the animals. She was a true advocate. Carol, you will be missed. I love you and pray that all your family will be comforted knowing that you have always been "knocking on Heaven´s door".
