In Loving Memory of Carol Ann Stroud
November 3, 1944 – November 23, 2025
Carol Ann Stroud, 81, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 3, 1944, to Paul Harris and Albina Yukl Harris, Carol lived a life devoted to her husband of 57 years and to her family, first residing in Oklahoma City and then settling in Harrah in 1984.
Her impressive career began as an executive assistant at Standard Testing and Engineering in Oklahoma City. Later, she worked for CNA Insurance, her time there spanned more than 40 years. She and Kenny traveled extensively, exploring the nation’s hidden corners. She loved clothes, makeup and jewelry, and was camera ready every day of her beautiful life. Carol had a competitive spirit, and it was rare for her to miss daily bingo and dominoes. She enjoyed crafts and was always making treasures.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Kenny Stroud of Edmond, son Randy (Winter) Stroud of OKC, brothers Roger (Jimmie Kay) Harris of Edmond and Ed Vierheller of Catoosa, nephew Dr. Josh Harris of Baltimore, MD and niece Michelle Johnson of Claremore, along with a host of extended family including cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Kiegan Stroud.
Carol’s life was a testament to the enduring love she shared with Kenny and a marriage that stood the test of time. Her family invites all who knew her to celebrate her life at a memorial service on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Asa Smith Funeral Home in Harrah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
