Carol Sylvia Tancredi

Mrs. Carol Sylvia Tancredi, age 81, formerly of Little Falls and a current resident of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, June 7, 2024.  Her passing took place under Hospice Care in Delray Beach, Florida.

She was born on April 17, 1943 in Little Falls, daughter of the late Roland and Mary (Newport) Bramer.   She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Vincent J. "Chancy" Tancredi, on Nov. 25, 1980; a blessed union of 43 years. Carol was a devoted mother to three sons: Joe Tancredi and wife Liz, Chuck Tancredi and wife Christina, and Mike Tancredi.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron and Charlie. Carol was also a loving grandmother to Abigail, Lilly, and Joey. She was a cherished educator, specifically in Canajoharie and Herkimer, and a dedicated Yankees fan. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Traditional funeral services are under the direction and care of Daniel J. Enea-Director at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131.  Calling hours will take place on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 from 6-8 pm at MVFC.  Mrs. Tancredi's funeral will commence at 2 pm on Friday, June 14th from the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. Steven A. Scarcia, officiating.  Procession will follow to Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, where she will be laid to rest.  Kindly consider memorial contributions to a charity of your choice in Carol's memory.
