Carol Ann Strader Taylor, 85, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord, Friday, November 15, 2024.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Global Methodist Church, 361 Mount Carmel Church Rd., Reidsville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.
Carol Ann was born and raised in Reidsville to the late Wilbert and Morene Strader. She graduated from Ruffin Senior High School and worked at Sears Roebuck for many years. She also worked with Avon, Stanley Home Products, and at Apple Tree as a clothing sales person, so she could be home with her children. She was a faithful and longtime member of Mt. Carmel Church. Carol was a prayer warrior and everyone knew to ask her for prayers. In her later years she enjoyed adult coloring and reading her devotions to spend time with the Lord. Her family was everything to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Taylor.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Charlie Taylor ; daughters, Kimberly Cox (Philip), and Holly Taylor; grandchildren, Taylor Cox and Joshua Wilson; sister, Janice King (Frank); niece, Joy Smith; great-nephew, Matthew Watlington (Amanda); great-niece, Jessica Turley (Tyler); great- great- niece, Paisley Watlington; and several nieces and nephews from the Taylor family; and a great number of cousins from the Strader family.
