February 18, 1939 - December 17, 2025
Carol Anne Twedt (née Marquardt), 86, of Fairfax, Va., passed away December 17, 2025. Born February 18, 1939, in Washington, DC, she later moved to Kansas City, where she met and married Gary Alan Twedt in 1961. Known for being gentle but firm and assertive yet kind, she worked as a law firm office manager and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and her church community. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Steven; and four grandchildren, Sam, Katie, Stephie, and Becca.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., February 7, at Lake of the Woods Church. Online guestbook available at johnsoncares.com
