Carol Vanderpol Obituary

Carol Vanderpol, 96, of Plaistow, New Hampshire, died on June 22, 2025. She was the wife of the late James Vanderpol.

Born on December 8, 1928, in Rutland, Vermont, Carol was the daughter of James and Rita Hayward.

Carol is survived by her four children from her first marriage to John Miller: Susan (Arthur), Anne Miller (John Alves), Timothy (Susan), Polly (Daniel), eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and extended family.

A private family service will be held in her memory.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, education and the joy found in music.

Susan, Art, and extended family, Please accept my deepest condolences upon your mother“s passing. I remember her as a smiling, generous colleague who was my model when I taught sixth grade. Her memory will live on in family, former colleagues, and former students. Be well.
