Carol Jean Wick

Carol Jean WIck, 91, a resident of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026. Carol was born on October 29, 1934 to Roy and Stephanie Marcus in Onalaska, WI, Carol met her future husband, David J. Wick in church and they were sweethearts throughout high school. Carol and David married in 1953 and their life together included the birth of three children and living in numerous locations in support of Davids career, including Germany, the Philippines, and Africa. David's last work transfer allowed Carol to achieve her dream of living on water, when they moved to Lake of the Woods, Virginia. The Lake house was the location of many wonderful memories and family get-togethers for all the children and grandchildren. Carol was the backbone of the home, providing constant care and support to her family. Carol was preceded in death by her husband David and son Jeffrey. She is survived by her son Jonathan D WIck (Lori) of Yulee, FL, her daughter Kathryn J Wick of Poinciana, FL, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She will be interred alongside her husband at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania
