NORTH BEND - Carol L. Wiebold, 81 of North Bend, Nebraska passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Fremont. She was born March 15, 1942 in Fremont to Harry and Esther (Bandlow) Lincoln.
Carol grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont Senior High School. She married Carroll Wiebold on July 24, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. They moved to North Bend in 1965.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Bend and the North Bend Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Survived by her husband, Carroll; sons, Scott (Leta) Wiebold all North Bend, and son, Tim (Carol T.) Wiebold, North Fort Myers, Florida; daughter, Lorie (Tony) Washington, Grand Island, NE; sister, Mary Wahl, Fremont; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and several brothers and sisters-in-laws.
Preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Bob Nelson and 8 sisters and 5 brothers.
Funeral 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Bend. Visitation on Monday, March 11th from 5-7 P.M., at Moser Memorial Chapel, North Bend.
Interment at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials to St. Peter Lutheran Church, North Bend Volunteer Fire Department or to the North Bend-Morse Bluff Veterans Memorial Park.
