WRIGHT, Carol Louise – recently of Chesaning, died Monday, January 12, 2026, at her daughter's residence. She was 78 years of age.

Carol was born in Grace Hospital in Detroit, December 24, 1947, to the late William Sr. and Ruby (Cronk) Griffin and was a resident of Warren most of her life. She met David Allen Wright at a wedding dress rehearsal and they wed on November 17, 1967. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2022. Mrs. Wright was employed at Parke Davis Pharmaceuticals, Volkswagen of America, and then Consumers Energy. She had attended the Church of the Nazarene. Carol enjoyed reading and singing beautiful old hymns at family gatherings.

She is survived by: daughter, Cristin Wright of Chesaning; brother, William Jr. (Diana) Griffin of Chesterfield Twp.; and a nephew, Marc (Jacklyn) Griffin also of Chesterfield Twp.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Final inurnment will be with her late husband in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) of which she suffered with for many years. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
