Carol E. Yott, 87, of Long Beach, earned her wings Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Long Beach, Mississippi. Carol was a native of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. She was a graduate of Marygrove College, Detroit, MI and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked as a Cytotechnician for over 30 years and retired to support her family, raising her grandchildren and caring for her siblings. She spent her entire life caring for, and supporting her family, in ways only an angel could.
Carol is survived by her sons; William J. Yott III, Michael, E. Yott Sr. (Pamela), and Joseph P. Yott Sr. (Lynn), her Grandchildren; Michael E. Yott Jr., Joseph P. Yott Jr. (Andrea), and Jaycie L. Coke (Steven), and her Great Grandchild; Luke M. Yott.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Myrtle Warner; brothers, Clifford and Mark Warner; and sisters, Thelma McDyer, Marilyn Deprest, and Nancy Warner. Her brothers-in-law, Joe McDyer, Medard Deprest, and her grandson Adam Yott. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements for services will be provided for family and friends at a later date.
