Carole Weigel Finnell

Carole Weigel Finnell, age 86, a native of Knox County, a resident of Meigs County since 1945, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born on October 31, 1937, the only child of Wallace and Jennette Shipe Weigel.
She was a member of Bethsadia Baptist Church, a 1955 graduate of Meigs County High School, and a school bus driver for 37 years. Her family was not perfect, but in her eyes they were.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Thomas Finnell, daughter: Kimberley, granddaughter: Kelly Finnell Taylor.
Survivors include her four sons, all of Decatur: Tony (Sharon), Chris, Gary "Gob" (Mildred), and Mike Finnell, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, special friend: Michael Bredwell.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, in the Goodfield Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Caldwell officiating.
