Carole Frassato Obituary
Carole was born September 26th, 1928 in Perry County, Illinois the daughter of Maynard and Eda (Geistdoerfer) Lewis. She married Felix Frassato on October 8th, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas and together they shared over 60 years of marriage before Felix passed away in 2009. Carole was a member of 3rd Baptist Church in Marion, Illinois. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Carole is survived by: sons James Frassato and wife Laura of Marion, IL; Eric Frassato of Mount Vernon, IL; Ronald Frassato and wife Susie of Mt. Juliet, TN, Donald Frassato of Marion, IL; Bobby Frassato and wife Leslie of Lake of Egypt, IL, Randy Frassato and wife Beth of Marion, IL. Daughter, Sherry Gockel of McAlester, OK. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Also, brother Byron Lewis and wife Nancy of Phoenix, AZ; along with her two fur babies, Miss Kitty and Thomas.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Elsie Swartwood and Lora Keaton; brother, Larry Lewis; son-in-law Terry Gockel; and grandson John Gockel.
Per her wish, there will be no service. A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick, IL.
The family would like to thank Southeast Oklahoma Hospice for the wonderful care they provided her. For those who prefer, memorials may be made to their local hospice.
