Carole C. Lukacek

Carole C. Lukacek 82, of New Lenox was born in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Victor and Ruth Calvaruso and passed away Thursday April 25, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Michael Robert Lukacek; loving mother of Dawn Lukacek Farner (Matthew T. Fuller), Michael Victor (Kimberly Krivach) Lukacek, Mark (Sheri) Lukacek, the late Mickey Lukacek, Denise (Harman) Singh, and the late Matthew Lukacek; proud grandma of Mark V. (Karen Abshire) Farner, Eric (Amanda) Farner, Jake Lukacek, Harman Anand Singh, and Ananda Thana Singh; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Carole was a foster parent of over 1000 children spanning over 30 years. Dedicated her life and career with DCFS for over 40 years honoring the well being of all children in the Chicagoland area. Avid lover of all animals, BINGO and bowling where she met the love of her life Michael. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Tuesday April 30, 2024 from 9-11am. Mass of Christian burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church Mokena, Il at 12pm. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Romeoville, IL. Immediately after services the family is holding a funeral luncheon at Fat Ricky's 646 N Independence Blvd Romeoville, IL 60446 from 2:30pm until 5:30pm.
