Carole Nicewicz

Carole passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, on June 4, 2024. She was born on May 10, 1946 in Brockton, MA. Carole grew up in Revere, MA loving the beach. She worked as a hairdresser, before dedicating her life to being a devoted mother for her children. Carole had a special way of touching the hearts of anyone she interacted with and her house in Medford, MA had an open door to anyone, and was full of love for many years. She spent the remainder of her life in Litchfield, NH with her daughter, Tammy, and her family. Carole enjoyed crafting, playing the piano, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren and fur babies.

Carole is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Frank Andrutis, and her brother, William Worcester, Sr.

Carole was the beloved sister of Rosalie DiMento. She was the loving mother of Tammy McLaughlin and husband Shaun, Debbie Fitzgerald and husband Derek, Terriann McClung and husband Geoff, and Michael Nicewicz and partner, Adina Lombardozzi. She was the loving nana to Jennifer McLaughlin, Shannon Lally, Shaun McLaughlin, Jr., Nicole McClung, and Alyssa McClung.

There will be a celebration of her life on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Ho Win Palace 269 Middlesex Ave, Medford, MA from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, financial contributions in memory of Carole Nicewicz can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Sweet Paws Rescue.
