Carole TAGG

TAGG, Carole Belben Of Bonita Springs, FL and formerly of Waltham, MA, passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born in Cambridge, MA and grew up in North Andover, MA. She leaves a son, Michael of Boston and Ft. Lauderdale; a sister, Jeannette Belben, of North Reading, MA; and her two best friends, Marylea Oates of Weymouth, MA and Julia Paskauskas of Bonita Springs, FL; and many other friends.

Carole was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and had a Masters degree from Wheelock College, now part of Boston University. She was a licensed social worker and worked for nonprofits her entire career.

Carole loved a good laugh, walking, and traveling. Her adventurous spirit led her to move to Florida in 2013, where she enjoyed the weather and met many new friends. Her greatest love was her son, followed by the beach, which she walked on daily. Time spent with friends was another love.

A Celebration of Carole's Life will take place at DeRomo's Restaurant, 26811 S. Bay Dr., Ste. 140, Bonita Springs, FL 34134, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Donations in memory of Carole may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
