It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved sister, Carole Joan Trumbo on August 2, 2025.

Carole was born February 17, 1944 in Washington, D.C. a daughter of the late James Louis Trumbo and Marie Anne DeLuca Trumbo.

She worked as a Special Needs Teacher's Aide at the Stephen Knolls School. Carole had a passion for helping her special needs students. It was one of her greatest blessings as well as the relationships she built with their families. She was deeply honored to be part of their lives.

In addition to her parents, Carole was predeceased by her sister, Julia Ann Trumbo Dawson. Carole is survived by her sisters, Charlotte Trumbo Cree and Dorinda Jeanne Trumbo Krasley; brother-in-law, Glenn David Krasley all who now reside in Millville, DE and brother-in-law, John Q. Dawson, Jr of Jacksonville, FL; a number of loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; her precious cats, Georgie, Eddie and Harley and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 12 Noon to 2 P.M. at Millville by the Sea Lifestyle Center, 30794 Endless Summer Drive, Millville, DE 19967. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carole to: Montgomery County Humane Society, 601S Stonestreet Avenue, Rockville, MD 20850 (Please reference her cat, Georgie Trumbo)
