Caroline Julia (Fielbrandt) Dora

Caroline Julia (Fielbrandt) Dora passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at her home with her family by her side at the age of 101.The daughter of the late George and Albertina (Felske) Fielbrandt was born July 12, 1924 on her family farm in Gilford Township. Caroline was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Beaver Township and enjoyed volunteering at the Fraser Township Election Board and for over 20 years at the Economy Center. She loved going to the Quilting Club at the church on Wednesdays and spending time with her church friends, Shirley Gerstacker, Ross Kuch, Susan and Sandy Westphal, Shirley Atton and Loretta Kulick and her two caregivers, Monica Wall and Susan Reid.

Caroline is survived by her four children, Jack Dora Jr., George Dora, Terry (Lori) Dora and Jacquelynn (John) McClelland; four grandchildren, Chad (Amber) Dora, Claudia (Paul) Jezak, Jacob McClelland and Joshua McClelland; four great grandchildren, Reese, Halie and Graham Dora and Jessa Jezak; one sister-in-law, Shirley Fielbrandt and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dora Sr.; daughter, Kellie Ann Dora; daughter-in-law, Laura Dora; sisters, Elsie (Herman) Hopp, Pauline (Richard) Farver and Lillian (Herl) Melzo and her brother, George Fielbrandt Jr.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church of Beaver Township (1557 Seidlers Rd, Auburn, MI 48611). Officiating will be Pastor Andrew Menz. Private interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home (201 W. Midland St. Bay City, MI 48706) and on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church (1557 Seidlers Rd, Auburn, MI 48611).
