In memory of
Perry Burnham

Ms. Epp was a profound mentor and friend to me during my four years at MERHS (2010-2014). She was a tireless advocate for her students, always pushing us toward excellence with kindness and grace.
She encouraged me to embrace the name "Perry Ardelle," which I have since chosen as the name of my photography business. I owe my passion and my career path to her guidance. While I will miss her, her impact remains a permanent part of my life and my work.

From letting me take photography classes over and over because I loved it so much, to encouraging me to submit my work to contests-your classroom became one of my safe places especially during my very depressive senior year- then, eight years later, getting to reconnect when I became a para in your classroom was so wonderful. I will always be grateful for the way you believed in me and encouraged me along the way. Quite honestly, I would not be who I am today without you. Rest in peace

Caroline is missed. Her advocacy for lung cancer by sharing her knowledge and also her personal experience was valuable to many including myself. I am so sorry for her loss.

I miss talking to you. We just got each other and loved talking about our love for travel, our husbands, dogs and Iowa. You will always be in my heart. I love you. Until we meet again my friend.

Caroline was a fierce supporter of everyone in the Young Lung group. She reached out with genuine care and concern and truly helped me through the hardest time of my life when she herself was going through her own battle. Her legacy lives on and I´m proud to be a tiny speck of that... hug Bernie for me Caroline!

Caroline's big heart and caring nature was felt by everyone in the young lung cancer community. When I first got diagnosed, I looked to Caroline as a source of inspiration. She touched more members of this community then she likely realized. Sending so much love to her and her family reading this
