Caroline Graham Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory - Vero Beach on Mar. 30, 2026.
Caroline (Carrie) Graham of Vero Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026 after a long journey with dementia. Up until the end Carrie continued to grace us with her beautiful smile and happy disposition.

Carrie was born in Charleston, SC on May 27, 1947 and grew up in Sunderland, MA where she lived with her parents, Anne (Hasbrouck) and Dean Scudder and her siblings Grace (deceased 2023), Winnie (deceased 1953), Sue, Barbara, Dean, and Ginger. Upon graduating from Frontier Regional High School, Carrie obtained an associate's degree in nursing from Greenfield Community College in 1967 and a BSN from UMass in 1997. She was a dedicated and respected nurse in the intensive care unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton for 40 years and loved her patients, co-workers, and the doctors she worked with.

Carrie and her husband Jeff lived in Northampton, MA for 35 years where they enjoyed a life full of spending time with family and friends, travel, and tending to their beautiful gardens. She was also artistic, loving to knit, sew, paint, and cook.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 45 years, Jeffrey Graham (Vero Beach, FL), children Erich Carroll and wife Jill (Fairhaven, MA); Sydney Carroll and husband Todd Millette (Deerfield, MA); son Tom Graham and wife Stacy (Sunderland, MA); and grandchildren Maggie, Teddy, Una, and Max. She was deeply loved by her family and we will all miss her immense kindness, love, and humor.

Services will be private and held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's, Shriner's, or UNICEF.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
