DaVon Lee Graham

DaVon Lee Graham, 77, of Bowling Green passed away March 28, 2026 with his loving wife by his side.

The Bowling Green native was born June 26, 1948 to the late Warren Lee and Carrie Frances Doolin Graham. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, Heath Morris. DaVon was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Butler County. He served in the Kentucky National Guard and retired as a foreman from Kentucky Utilities after 42 years of service and had worked as a lineman starting at Warren Rural Electric Cooperative having over 50 years total experience in the field. He was first inspired to pursue being a lineman after seeing crews installing electric lines on his grandparent's farm as a child. When not working, DaVon was an avid UK basketball fan, Nascar fan, and golfer.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Joy Carr Graham; sons, Greg Graham of Louisville and Scott Graham of Lexington; grandchildren, Alexis Graham of Columbus, Ohio, Ashley Graham of Montana, and Harper Graham of Georgetown, Ky.; sister, Sherry Morris (Woody) of Plano; brothers-in-law, Dallas Carr (Laura) and Doug Carr (Marsha); sister-in-law, Linda Mills (Rick); his beloved Basset Hound Scooby; childhood friends, Mike Witherspoon and Mike Dotson; and several nephews and special friends especially his longtime colleagues who he considered close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (C.D.T.) Wednesday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 2 until 7 p.m. (C.D.T.) Tuesday and after 9 a.m. (C.D.T.) Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bowling Green Gardens.
