Carolyn Ann Allen, born May 14, 1951, to the late J.N. and Jeanette Taylor, passed away on October 23, 2025.
She is survived by her loving children, Dr. Stephanie (Chris) Cameron and Steven (Lauren) Allen; her sister, Cindy (Mike) Wooten, and their son and daughter-in-law; and her cherished grandchildren, Sydney and Norah Huskey and Tillie Allen.
Carolyn was known for her strong work ethic and her appreciation for life’s quieter moments. She loved relaxing at home and especially looked forward to her yearly beach vacations. A fan of classic films, Carolyn delighted in watching Burt Reynolds movies and, as a child, loved reading Nancy Drew novels. Those who knew her will remember her as a beautiful, intelligent woman with a kind heart and gentle spirit.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2:45 PM at Benton Memorial Gardens, with Chaplin David King officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00–2:00 PM at the funeral home, located at 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd., Cleveland, TN 37311.
