Carolyn is survived by her husband Paul, her son Kevin, her daughter-in-law Jane, her grandchildren Benj (Marielle), Jill, Jeremiah (Dani), and Luke, her great-grandchildren Damian and Jamila, as well as her siblings Vince, John, and Connie. She is preceded in death by her eldest son, Timothy, and her grandson Mark.
Carolyn was born on July 7th, 1936, to Vincent and Gertrude Brill. She married her high school sweetheart Paul on August 24th, 1955, and they were happily married for 68 years.
Carolyn's life was one of service to her faith and her community, and she was deeply devoted to her family. She will be remembered for her strength and determination, her hospitality, and her heart for Jesus. She will be sorely missed by so many.
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 14, at 11:00 am, at Lifepoint Christian Church, 501 Scott Lake Road, Waterford, MI. Luncheon to follow.
